Description
52 Love Street in Paisley is a villa built around 1830. It is two stories tall and has a symmetrical three-bay design with an ashlar front. The wide angle strips and the center bay are slightly set forward. The entrance features a porch supported by two Ionic columns, which hold up an entablature and a blocking course.
The ground floor has architraved two-pane sash windows topped with cornices. There is an eaves band and a cornice with a blocking course along the top. The roof is piended and covered with slate, featuring corniced stacks at the ends. Each side of the building has screen walls with round-headed niches and cornices above. The sides and rear are constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings. A later stair protrudes from the south side, and there is a projecting later tripartite feature at the rear.
