Description
North Lodge, located in Fountain Gardens, Paisley, dates from around 1868 and consists of a pair of mirror image single-storey lodges designed in an L-plan. The buildings are constructed from stugged ashlar with polished dressings. Each lodge features a gabled porch positioned in the re-entrant angle. The sash windows are set in moulded frames, with a bipartite window under a gablet on the east side and a canted window facing the entrance drive. The roofs are piended and covered with slate, incorporating bands of fish-scale slates. There are ashlar stacks, with one stack rendered on the north lodge.
