Description
4 Glen Street in Paisley is a four-storey, three-bay tenement block built around 1900 in a free style. The building features ashlar stonework with channelled angle strips on the upper floors. The ground floor has shops in the outer bays, while the centre bay has a round-headed door leading to the upper floors. Above the ground floor, a parapet is supported by four concave corbels. The upper floors are adorned with canted sash windows in the outer bays, which have pipartite centres consisting of two sashes and a single lower pane. Between the bays, there are channelled ashlar stacks that are corbelled at the first floor and rise through the eaves, connecting two polished ashlar battered stacks with pierced buttresses. The roof is slate, featuring gable stacks.
