Description

42 Love Street in Paisley is a pair of three-storey houses built around 1830. The buildings are constructed of ashlar stone and feature paired architraved doorways topped with consoled cornices. The doorway of No 44 has a fanlight above it, while No 42 has a panelled door. All the windows are architraved, with cornices on the first floor. The lower two floors have two-pane sash windows, while the second floor has square sashes that were formerly nine-pane. The houses have eaves cornices, a slate roof, and corniced end stacks.
