Description
The ornamental well on Bridesmill Road in Lochwinnoch dates back to the early 19th century and may include some earlier materials. It is made of ashlar stone and is set into a rubble boundary wall. The rear wall features a blind pointed arch, flanked by a pair of advanced, moulded pillars topped with drop-shaped caps. These pillars support a simple entablature that includes part of a moulded cornice.
