Description

This domestic building, located at the rear of 26 Melville Street in Perth, dates from around 1840. It is a two-storey house with three windows. The entrance features a curious semi-elliptically arched doorpiece that is keyblocked and topped with a cornice. The ground floor windows are chamfered, while the first-floor windows are moulded. The central window on the first floor is semi-elliptically arched, keyblocked, and has a hood-mould above it, along with a crosslet crowstep gable. The original glazing is preserved only in the central first-floor window.
