Description
This is a house located at 26 St Lawrence Lane, dating from the early 19th century. The front is solidly rendered and designed to look like masonry, topped with a slated roof and featuring rendered chimneys on each gable end. The building has three storeys and is two windows wide.
The ground floor includes a central doorway with a reeded wood surround and cornice, leading to a six-panelled door where the two bottom panels are flush. The door has matching reveals and a fanlight with radial bars. To the left of the doorway, there is a pair of old plank doors leading to a cart entrance, which is likely a later addition, featuring strap-hinges and an iron looped handle.
The windows on the ground and second storeys are six-paned sashes, while the third storey has three-paned windows. The eaves-cornice has been replaced with a plain board, although the lowest part of the original moulding still remains.
