Description
28, 30, 32, and 32A St Lawrence Lane are a pair of terrace houses built in the early 19th century. They have solid rendered fronts, with the left side wall made of painted stone rubble. The houses feature a hipped slated roof, with a red-brick chimney on the left gable wall and a chimney made of large squared stone blocks on the rear wing, which is visible from Blogishay Lane.
The houses are of similar width, but No 28 appears to be double-fronted while No 30 is single-fronted. Both houses are likely double-depth, with a rear wing behind Nos 30 and 32. They stand three storeys tall, while the wing is two storeys. Each house has three windows across the front, with round-arched doorways. The ground and second storeys have sash windows with margin panes, while the third storey features 6-paned sashes. The buildings also have raised quoins and a modillioned eaves cornice.
