Description
This is a terrace of three cottages, with a fourth cottage located at the rear behind a small courtyard, dating from the early 19th century. The cottages have roughcast walls and slated roofs, featuring two rendered chimneys on the ridge of the front range and two more on the rear ranges. The row of three cottages along the street front includes Nos. 10, 12, and 14, with a passage between Nos. 12 and 14 that leads to the rear courtyard. In this courtyard, there is an additional cottage (No. 12A) on the left alongside a range of storage buildings. The front range is two storeys high, with No. 12 having two windows and a doorway situated between the ground floor windows. Nos. 10 and 14 each have one window per storey, with their doorways to the right. There is an old plank door leading to the passage that accesses the rear courtyard. Nos. 10 and 14 feature 8-paned sash windows. This group of working-class cottages is relatively well preserved.
