Description

Ardoch Parish Church, built in 1780, is a simple rectangular structure with harled walls. The south wall features five arched windows with keystones, and there are cable-moulded scroll-skews. A bellcote was added in 1836 and recast in 1861-1862. The church underwent further reconstruction, which included a west porch with a round-headed doorway that has a horse-shoe drip-mould and a gablet, as well as an east chancel designed by Wm. Simpson from Stirling in 1890.
