Description
Feddal Castle is a fragment of a building dating from 1683. It is a two-storey structure with three windows on the east side, built from rubble with chamfered margins and a crowstepped design. The castle underwent significant renovations during the Victorian era, which included the addition of a large porch and a corbelled turret. It has been converted into a lodge, and a large, irregular Victorian archway was added, featuring gothic keystoned arches, fluted rusticated pilasters, bull-faced masonry, and a crenellated parapet. The interior has been completely gutted.
