Description
18th century, re-worked 19th century; later alterations. 3-storey, 2-bay, rectangular-plan symmetrical piended tenement, converted as shop at ground. Painted cement-rendered and lined at ground; harled above. Concrete margins to windows. Modern timber fascia over band course between ground and 1st floors.
E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: deep-set modern glazed door with large rectangular fanlight at ground in bay to centre; large shop windows in each bay flanking. Window at each floor in each bay above.
N (SIDE) ELEVATION, IN CLOSE: irregularly fenestrated; tall wallhead stack, set to left.
S (SIDE) ELEVATION: large shop window at ground in bay to outer right; window at 1st floor above. Tall wallhead stack set to right of centre.
Large shop windows with 2-pane upper border at ground; 12- and 8-pane timber sash and case windows above. Grey slate piended roof; tall, harled, corniced wallhead stacks to N and S; uPVC rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: converted to shop at ground; unseen above, 1998.
