Description

Possibly 18th century with later alterations and additions. 2-storey and attic, 2-bay house with gable end to street and forestair to 1st floor entrance to side (S). Cement-rendered and lined to gable end; harled to S; cement dressings. Band course and cornice between floors; plain margins to openings.

E (GABLED) ELEVATION: enlarged shop window in bay to left at ground; modern glazed door in bay to right. Window in each bay at 1st floor; small attic window to each side of gable; gablehead stack above.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3-bay: forestair to deep-set modern timber panelled door at 1st floor in bay to centre. Window in each bay flanking.

Modern 2-pane timber sash and case windows; fixed attic windows; rooflights to S pitch. Grey slate roof; stone ridge; harled and cement-rendered, corniced gablehead stacks to E and W; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1998.
