Description

Earlier 19th century with later alterations. Single storey and attic, over basement 3-bay rectangular-plan symmetrical house, gable end to street, (E), with stop chamfered NE angle, built on ground rising steeply to W. Harled; harl-pointed random rubble gable. Cement-rendered and lined margins to openings at basement.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: steep stone flight along S elevation to deep-set door at 1st floor in bay to centre. Window in each bay flanking.

E (SIDE) ELEVATION: architraved deep-set part-glazed door, offset to left, at basement; attic window above. Window at basement to chamfered angle. Gablehead stack above.

Replacement 8-pane timber sash and case windows. Welsh purple slate roof; stone ridge; 3 evenly disposed rooflights in S pitch; tall harled and corniced gablehead stacks to E and W; replacement concrete skews; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.
