Description

Earlier to mid 19th century with later alterations. 2-storey and attic 6-bay rectangular-plan crowstep-gabled pair of houses, internally subdivided to form 3 dwellings, comprising 2, 3-bay houses to E with forestair and bridge to rear (W) entrances, built on ground rising to W. Modern harling.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 3-bay group to left: deep-set modern door at ground in bay to centre. Window at each floor in bay to right. Window at each floor with box dormer breaking eaves in bay to left. 3-bay group to right: deep-set modern door at ground in bay to centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bays flanking.

W (REAR) ELEVATION: irregular, 4-bay. Stone flight to modern door at 1st floor in bay to centre; L-plan bridge addition to pitch-roofed porch with modern door to attic level offset to left above. Window at 1st floor in bays flanking.

N (SIDE) ELEVATION: 2-bay gabled wall: attic window to left; window at ground to right; multi-flue gablehead stack above.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Purple Welsh slate roof; stone ridge; rooflight to W pitch; harled corniced gablehead stacks to N and S; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.
