2, 4, 6, 8, 10 Bath Street, Largs

2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 Bath Street in Largs are a row of mid 19th century houses that are two stories tall with attics. Each house was probably originally designed with two bays, but they have been significantly altered over time. The buildings feature painted render with margins and have Roman Doric columned door eases.

No. 2 has a gable facing Main Street and enlarged windows, with three windows on each story facing Bath Street. It has a door that lacks a doorcase and two piended dormers.

No. 4 retains its original two bays, doorcase, and 4-pane sash windows, along with a single piended dormer.

Nos. 6 and 8 each have two bays that are symmetrically arranged, with original central doorcases and mostly 4-pane sash windows. The ground floor windows have been raised, and there is a later wall-head gable that has been raised over the two inner bays, along with two canted dormers.

No. 10 features four bays, a blocked door, and a door with a doorcase. A modern window in the left bay is part of the public house next door. The first floor has plate glass sashes and a single piended dormer. The buildings have an eaves course, cornice, and slate roofs.
