Description
1 Main Street in Largs is an earlier 19th century corner building that stands two storeys high with an attic. It features one bay facing Gallowgate and a broad, curved bay on Main Street. The exterior is finished in painted ashlar with margins, although the ground floor has been altered for shops. On the first floor, there are two sash windows; the left window has plate glass, while the right window has 12 panes. The building is adorned with an eaves course, cornice, and blocking course. A wall-head stack sits on a tall plinth, and there is a single piended dormer. The roof is covered with slate.
