Description
5, 7, 9, 11 Main Street in Largs is an earlier 19th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays. The exterior is finished in painted render, which is mostly lined to resemble ashlar, with defined margins. The ground floor has been significantly altered, with shop fronts located in the central and right bays, a door on the left, and a shop extending into the building on the extreme left. The first floor contains three windows, each fitted with 12-pane sash frames. Architectural details include an eaves course, a cornice, and a blocking course. The roof is slate, featuring two piended dormers and a ridge stack.
