Library, Brisbane Centre, 30 Bath Street, Largs

The building is a single-storey former bath house, constructed in 1816. It features painted ashlar with dressings. The elevation facing Bath Street includes a tall round-headed doorway in an advanced central bay, with the door flanked by side lights and an arched fanlight. There are four windows on this facade; the right side has sash windows, while the left side contains blind windows. Additional architectural details include a cill course, eaves course, and a cornice with a blocking course above the entrance. The curved south gable has three 9-pane windows with raised cills. The elevation facing Fort Street is similar but has a segmental-headed doorway; the windows on the right have raised cills, and the two outer left bays are blocked by a modern rectangular café.
