Description

Knoll House is an early 19th-century building located at right angles to Gentle Street, with access from both Bath Street and Gentle Street. The front is made of ashlar stone, featuring a channelled ground floor and a decorative band above. The house has three storeys and three windows, with glazing bar sashes and moulded architraves on the first and second floors. A prominent heavy portico supported by two columns features an entablature. There is a slight break in the rubble on the right side and a two-storey modern extension at the rear. The return side has four bays. Inside, the staircase and hall fittings date back to the 1830s.
