Description
Oriel Lodge is a building first rated in 1800. It is constructed of coursed and dressed rubble and features a hipped mansard roof covered with pantiles. The building has a cornice and an ashlar parapet, with chamfered quoins and a plain plinth. It is 2½ storeys high and includes segment-headed dormers. There are three 19th-century sash windows set in raised brick surrounds with hollow outer moulds. The central door opening has an architrave and a segmental pediment supported by consoles, with a half-glazed door. At the rear, there is a hipped stair turret. Inside, there are later 19th-century alterations, and the staircase has plain square section balusters and a straight string.
