Description

The wall to the rear of numbers 10 and 11 Gentle Street is a structure from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of squared rubble and features coping, standing approximately 9 feet high. The wall includes ashlar piers facing the road and stretches about 25 yards long before curving to the south, where it has a segmental-headed door. Incorporated into the wall is a small garden house, also constructed of rubble, which has a single lancet window on its south corner. The wall extends to a barn located at the rear of number 10 Gentle Street.
