Description

Hawkhill Farm is a farmhouse and steading built in 1862. It is a single storey with an attic and consists of three bays, plus one lower bay to the north. The structure is constructed from rubble and has a painted finish with painted margins. The west elevation features a central gabled porch, flanked by windows, and has two piended canted dormers. On the east elevation, there is a door topped with a dated pedimented gable. The building has straight skews and a slate roof. It forms the west side of a courtyard that includes single storey farm buildings, with a barn located to the east.
