Description
Ardeer Mains is a mid 19th century house that stands two storeys tall and has three bays. It is constructed from squared rubble with painted margins. The front features a central doorpiece with pilasters, and there are modern aluminium sash windows. The building has an eaves course, cornice, and blocking course, with end stacks and a slate roof. Flanking the house are two single storey gabled farm buildings that return to create a rear courtyard, although some modern brick farm buildings are not included in this description.
