Description
The Champion Shell Inn is a late 18th century building located at 5 Schoolwell Street in Stevenston. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The exterior is finished in painted stucco, featuring raised rusticated quoins and surrounds around the openings on the ground floor. The central entrance consists of a panelled door with panelled reveals, and above the lintel is a plaster shell ornament. There is another plain door to the right of the central entrance. The building has sash windows and a ridge roof with plain gables.
