Description
1 and 3 Countess Street in Saltcoats is an 18th-century building that has been extensively altered. It is an L-plan corner structure with two storeys, featuring four bays facing Countess Street and two bays facing Bradshaw Street. The exterior is harled, and there is an early 20th-century shop front at No 3, which includes two wall head dormers. The ground floor of No 1 has been modernized with two square windows above. The building has crow-stepped gables with moulded skew putts and a slate roof. The rear wing includes a door and one window on each floor.
