Description
16 and 18 St Cuthbert Street in Kirkcudbright is an early 19th-century terraced house that includes a shop. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring two bays. It is harled with painted margins. The central door is flanked by two later 19th-century shop windows, all of which have bracketed cills and consoled cornices. To the left, there is a wide basket-arched pend that leads to the pilastered entrance of No 18, which is shared with No 20. On the first floor, there are two windows fitted with plate glass sashes. The building also has two modern dormers and a slate roof with end stacks.
