Description

This terraced house at 3 Castle Street in Kirkcudbright dates from around 1800. It is two stories tall with an attic and has two bays. The exterior features lined render with painted margins. The entrance door is located on the right side, with a pend at the extreme right that is shared with No 5. To the left of the door, there are enlarged flanking shop windows. On the first floor, there are two windows fitted with plate glass sashes. The house also has two later piended, canted dormers and is topped with a slate roof.
