Description
10 and 12 St Cuthbert Street in Kirkcudbright is an early 19th-century terraced house and shop. The building is two storeys high and has two bays, constructed from painted rubble with margins. The ground floor features a shop front with a central door and an entrance to the upper floor on the left. Cast-iron columns flank the doors and windows, supporting a fascia and a modern cornice. There is a pend on the left that is shared with number 14. The decorative panelled door belongs to number 12, and there are two windows with plate glass sashes on the first floor. The roof is modern tiled, with end stacks, one of which has been rebuilt.
