Description

The War Memorial on Castle Street in Kirkcudbright was designed by George Henry Paulin around 1920. It features a rick base with a rock-faced plinth, topped with a block moulding that resembles a chair. The memorial is decorated with thistle motifs at the corners and includes a figure of a warrior alongside a child.
