Description

Bryddes is an 18th-century building located on the northeast side of Battle High Street. It is two storeys high and features five windows. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with grey headers, while the upper part is tile-hung. The building has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a tiled roof, with intact glazing bars. The doorway for No 39 has a flat hood supported by brackets. The adjoining doorway has been bricked up, and a modern doorway has been created for No 40 to the southeast.
