Description
The building at 14 Nineyard Street in Saltcoats is a bank constructed around 1850. It is two storeys high and features three windows. The exterior is made of snecked droved ashlar with polished dressings. The central entrance has a pilastered and pedimented doorpiece, which is flanked by bipartite windows that have bracketed cornices. There is a cill course at the first floor level, and a single central light is also accompanied by flanking bipartites. All windows are adorned with painted architraves. Above the first floor windows, there is a string course, and the building has an entablature. The roof is piended and covered with slate. There is a modern addition on the left side of the building.
