Description
70 High Street and 68 in Forres is an earlier 19th-century building featuring three storeys and four bays. The ground floor consists of a pair of shops with a narrow central passage, while No. 68 has a late 19th-century shopfront. The facade is symmetrical on the first and second floors, constructed from coursed dressed rubble with ashlar dressings. It includes raised angles and window margins, with 4-pane glazing. The building has a slate roof, although the chimneys have been removed.
