Description
60-66 Princes Street in Ardrossan is a mid-19th century two-storey terrace building, originally designed by architect Peter Nicholson in 1806 for Lord Eglinton. The terrace consists of blocks, each featuring four windows, and is constructed of painted ashlar. Some ground floor pilasters are still visible. The first floor windows have a cill course, with the windows at 46-58 having architraves and those at 60-70 featuring margins. The building is topped with a cornice, blocking course, straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof. Additionally, the blocks at 68-70 have a panelled parapet.
