Description
86 and 88 Glasgow Street in Ardrossan is an early 19th-century two-storey terrace, part of the original layout designed for Lord Eglinton by architect Peter Nicholson in 1806. Each block features four windows and is constructed of painted ashlar, although 88, 94, and 96 have been finished with dry dash. The buildings have pilastered doorpieces, except for 90 and 98, which are accessed through a pend. All windows have margins, and there is a cill course at the first floor level. The terrace includes a continuous eaves course, cornice, and blocking course, with straight skews and stacks, all topped with slate roofs.
