48, 50, and 52 Glasgow Street in Ardrossan is an early 19th-century terrace, part of the original layout designed for Lord Eglington by architect Peter Nicholson in 1806. The building is two stories high, with numbers 30-36 and 66-72 featuring three windows, while the rest have four windows. It is constructed of painted ashlar and has later shopfronts on the ground floor, with number 46 featuring a pilastered doorpiece. All windows have margins, and the building includes a continuous eaves course, cornice, and blocking course. The roof has straight skews and end stacks, with numbers 38-40 featuring a central wallhead stack. The roofs are slate, and numbers 70-72 have two piended canted dormers. There are also some rear stair turrets present.
