Description
90 and 92 Glasgow Street in Ardrossan are early 19th century buildings that are part of the original layout designed for Lord Eglinton by the architect Peter Nicholson in 1806. This two-storey terrace features four windows in each block. The buildings are constructed of painted ashlar, although numbers 88, 94, and 96 now have dry dash finishes. The doorways are framed by pilastered doorpieces, except for numbers 90 and 98, which are accessed through a pend. All windows have margins, and there is a cill course at the first floor level. The buildings also have a continuous eaves course, cornice, and blocking course, with straight skews and stacks. The roofs are covered with slate.
