94, 96 Glasgow Street, Ardrossan

94 and 96 Glasgow Street in Ardrossan are early 19th century buildings that were part of the original layout designed for Lord Eglinton by the architect Peter Nicholson in 1806. These are two-storey terrace houses, each featuring four windows. The buildings are constructed of painted ashlar, although numbers 88, 94, and 96 now have a dry dash finish. They have pilastered doorpieces, except for numbers 90 and 98, which are accessed through a pend. All windows have margins, and there is a cill course at the first floor level. The buildings also feature a continuous eaves course, a cornice, and a blocking course, with straight skews and stacks, all topped with slate roofs.
