Description
68-70 Princes Street in Ardrossan is a mid-19th century two-storey terrace building that follows the original layout designed for Lord Eglinton by architect Peter Nicholson in 1806. Each block features four windows and is constructed from painted ashlar. Some ground floor pilasters are still visible. The first floor windows have a cill course, with the windows at 46-58 having architraves, while those at 60-70 include margins. The building is topped with a cornice, blocking course, straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof. Notably, 68-70 has a panelled parapet.
