Description
The Toll House at Girdle Toll in Irvine is a single-storey cottage, likely built as a toll house in the second quarter of the 19th century. It is set diagonally at a road junction and features a colourwashed stone front with painted margins and end strips. The roof has oversailing eaves. The building has a central door, with a sash window to the left and a splayed bay to the right. Its layout is T-shaped.
