Description
The remains of a pre-Reformation church at Perceton, Irvine, now serve as a family burial ground. It consists of a roofless, rectangular stone enclosure with a gabled north aisle. The site is known as The Vault, Perceton, and is mentioned in the 3rd Statistical Account (page 290) and the New Statistical Account, Volume V (page 524).
