Description

The Burns Statue, located on Towns Moor in Irvine, was erected in 1894. It features a bronze statue of the poet Robert Burns, standing on a polished pink granite pedestal. The pedestal is classical in style, tapering towards the top, and rests on a square base adorned with armorial bronze panels.
