Description
The Robert Burns Monument, located in Albert Square, Dundee, was designed by Sir John Steele and completed in 1880. It features a seated bronze figure of the poet Robert Burns, who is depicted holding a quill pen and appearing to meditate. The statue is mounted on a polished Peterhead granite pedestal, which includes a base course and cornice, and is further supported by a grey granite plinth.
