Description
The Robert Burns Statue, located on Bernard Street in Leith, Edinburgh, was created by David Watson Stevenson in 1898. This bronze statue of the famous poet Robert Burns stands on an octagonal plinth made of red granite and red sandstone. The statue is set on a drum pedestal that features carved scrolls and four bronze bas relief panels, which are signed by D W Stevenson. These panels depict scenes from Burns' work and were presented by different sculptors.
