59-63 Cromwell Street in Stornoway, Lewis, is a building dated 1886 that has seen little alteration since its construction, although it may incorporate a pre-existing structure. It is designed in the Neo-Jacobethan style, featuring a shaped gable at the center of the wall head. The building is symmetrical, with two stories and an attic, finished in painted render with detailing and topped with slate roofs.

The central entrance includes a panelled door with a deep rectangular fanlight and a cast-iron crested door hood, leading to the upper flats. On either side of the entrance are shops; the one on the right is completely modern, while the left shop may date from the early 20th century. The first floor has seven bays, with a datestone set in a blind center panel. Each bay features single windows with hood-moulds, sash and case designs with short upper sashes, and 4-pane glazing. Above, there is a cornice and parapet, with a bipartite window in the center gable and piended canted dormers on either side. The building also has apex stacks.
