Description

The Windmill Dovecot at Gordonstoun House is an 18th-century tall circular windmill that has been converted into a dovecot. The exterior is harled, and the upper portion is narrow, designed in two stages with rat courses leading to the central apex flight hole. It stands on a mound and has a blocked entrance on the east side, along with two small mural flight holes. Inside, the dovecot is lined with stone nesting boxes, and a potence, which is a revolving ladder, is still present.
