Description
The Doocot at Wemyss Castle is a 17th century wind pump that was converted into a dovecot in the 19th century. It features a circular shape with a raked and battlemented tower, constructed from rubble. The structure has a corbelled parapet and pointed windows. Inside, there is a potence and a total of 365 nest holes for doves.
