Description

Circa 1820. Tall single storey and attic, 2-bay, L-plan cottage with cottage orne references, timber-mullioned leaded windows and steeply-pitched jerkin-headed gables. Harled.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Slightly advanced bays flanking centre, each with 4-light window to ground and 3-light oriel window on decorative timber brackets above abutting jerkin-headed roof. Tall ridge stack to centre.

NE ELEVATION: advanced gable to left with 3-light window to ground, and door on return to right with 2 small windows in lower slate-hung gable; further door in lower recessed bay to right.

SW ELEVATION: door to outer left of gabled bay to right with window in lower bay to left.

Multi-pane diamond-pattern leaded glazing in casement windows. Grey slates. Coped harled stack with vertically-banded decoration close to cope. Plain bargeboarding and deeply-overhanging eaves
