Description

The Orangery and Walled Garden at Wemyss Castle were designed by John Nicol around 1790, with extensions by Walter Nicol after 1801. The walled garden is made of flat-coped red (Wemyss) brick and is divided into two sections, featuring rounded corners to the southeast and southwest. The orangery, built in 1798, has a freestone facade adorned with Corinthian pilasters and circular windows.
