Description
Tullich is a single-storey villa designed in the style of William Robertson, built between 1830 and 1840. The villa features a symmetrical three-bay front facing west, with harled walls and tooled ashlar margins and dressings. At the center, there is a porch with a gabled roof that has deep soffits creating an open pediment. The porch has a shallow segmental-headed doorway and side windows that illuminate the interior. On either side of the porch, there are single flanking windows with stepped margins, and the same fenestration detailing is found on the two-bay return elevations.
At the rear, a slightly lower single-storey, three-bay wing projects from the center, with an entrance located in the end bay of the south elevation and a central window in the east gable. The main range features two rear gabled dormers and is primarily fitted with lying-pane glazing. The roof is a piended platform slate roof, from which two batteries, each consisting of three coped diamond stacks, rise from the center.
Inside, there is little of interest, but it does include panelled window shutters and doors.
